Business Programs Prepares IBMC Students for Entry-Level Careers in Business and Accounting

Institute of Business & Medical Careers Brings Aubreena DeForest to Business Accounting Classrooms
 
The Institute of Business & Medical Careers, Inc., of Longmont, CO welcomes Aubreena DeForest to the Business Program, where she has been hired to teach accounting classes and prepare students for business careers.
 
DeForest assist students seeking entry-level opportunities with career training in Business Administration or Accounting Degree programs.
 
She holds a Masters of Art in Higher Education and Student Affairs Leadership from the University of Colorado, a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from Hawaii Pacific University and an Associate of Science in Marketing from Hawaii Public University.
 
DeForest currently works at the University of Phoenix in Fort Collins as an Enrollment Advisor, was employed at Aims Community College in Greeley, CO as a Staff Specialist from May 2008 to June 2011, a Graduate Assistant/Chief Academic Officer at Aims Community College from May 2009-August 2009 and served as President at Aims Community College from June 2009-June 2010. She also worked at the Marine Corps Community Services in Kailua, Hawaii from February 2007-January 2008, as a Special Orders Clerk-Customer Services Representative and at Lighting Designer II in Loveland, CO as a Sales Associate in February 2004-June 2006.
 
The Business Program teaches students to decision making and problem solving strategies in the classroom and through their externship. Students are taught professionalism, communication and ethical industry practices for real-life workplace situations, giving the industry’s future employees a strong business background for a multitude of successful career opportunities
 
The Institute of Business and Medical Careers (IBMC) has been providing career training for 25 years. This college is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) and offers certificate, diploma and associate of occupational studies degrees in the following programs: business, healthcare, massage therapy and legal at the Longmont, CO; Greeley, CO; Fort Collins, CO and Cheyenne, WY locations.
