IBMC's goal is to train students in preparation for today's employers. However, our job is not finished once the training is complete. The Career Services Department at IBMC is available to assist students, alumni and employers in all aspects of the job search process and is a vital part of our College.

Our Career Services Department keeps an on-going posting of current jobs, aggressively assists students in the job search, resume building, and interview coaching. To help students transition from program to profession, IBMC provides externships that often turn into job offers. Although the securing of positions cannot be guaranteed by any educational institution, every avenue is pursued to assist students/graduates in obtaining desirable employment. As students approach graduation, their career goals are reviewed and they are individually marketed in their field of expertise. We offer lifetime career assistance as a benefit to our graduates.

  • Lifetime placement assistance is available to all IBMC graduates, including access to our internet Job Bank.
  • Employment recommendations are made by matching a need communicated by an employer with the graduate's educational and experiential background.
  • Refresher courses provide graduates the opportunity to 'brush-up" on their skills for courses successfully completed and there is no tuition fee!
  • Individual counseling to assist with the continued development of resume writing, interviewing skills and follow-up activities.
