IBMC to Host Garth Englund Blood Drive at FTC Campus on Oct. 18th
IBMC of Fort Collins Encourages Community Members to Donate Blood and Save a Life by Participating in the Garth Englund Blood Drive – Sponsored by Poudre Valley Health System and Medical Center of the Rockies
Donate blood and save a life! The Institute of Business and Medical Careers (IBMC) will host the Poudre Valley Garth Englund Blood Donor Center Mobile Bus at the Fort Collins Campus.
Stop by IBMC’s Campus at 3842 S. Mason St. on Tuesday, October 18 from 8:00 am – 1:00 pm to donate.
Walk-ins are welcome!
Giving blood only requires fifteen minutes of your time and may save the life of a person in need.
IBMC will provide student and staff volunteers to assist with the event. IBMC students may sign-up at the FTC Education Desk.
Donors are needed for this Blood Drive, which is sponsored by Poudre Valley Health System Garth Englund Blood Donor Center.
Although appointments are not necessary, they are encouraged.
Donors are requested to:
• Eat before donating
• Bring a picture ID
• Must be feeling well and healthy
• Must weigh at least 110 pounds
• Must be at least 18 or 17 with a parent’s signature
• A letter must be on file for tattoos and body piercings within last year.
The donation process begins with a brief registration and interview. The donation takes 5-15 minutes with refreshments (juice and cookies) offered afterwards.
