The Fort Collins Institute of Business and Medical Careers (IBMC), Recycled Cycles and Natural Grocers are teaming up for this year’s 25th Annual Bike to Work Day on Wednesday, June 27th.
Community members are invited to stop by Recycled Cycles at 4031 S. Mason Street between 6:30am-9:30am for a complimentary continental breakfast, consisting of their legendary blueberry pancakes, refreshments and prize give-a-ways!
“IBMC is a proud partner for this year’s Bike to Work Day. Whether you’re a novice or expert trail blazer, we encourage employees and community members to ride their bikes to work and stop by for a delicious breakfast.”
Eric Thompson, Campus Director, IBMC of Fort Collins
This year, the City of Fort Collins, in-conjunction with Climate Wise and area businesses, will have forty Breakfast Bike Stations throughout the city that community members may visit. A number of the stations also offer courtesy bicycle technician servicing and heart health education.
Bike riding poses many advantages. With the perks bike riding offers over other transportation methods, including: reducing one’s carbon footprint, affordable, losing weight and healthier living, this year’s Bike to Work Day is gearing towards a substantial increase for community participation.
