Congratulations to the Winners of IBMC’s Get Active Photo Contest

The Institute of Business & Medical Careers Encouraged Employees to “Get Movin’ With Your Pet” During the Month of June as Part of a Healthy Habits Initiative and for the Chance to win Great Prizes

Congratulations to Melissa Newbanks, Melissa Meltzer and Karla Stanton for winning the June “Get Movin’ With Your Pet” photo contest!

Who ever said dogs can't play lacrosse? Coco gave quite a challenge during their front yard match-up. Melissa Meltzer was one of the proud winners of the IBMC "Get Active" contest for the month of June.

This contest was held in-conjunction with the Institute of Business & Medical Careers’ Get Active campaign, which encourages IBMC employees to exercise and engage in healthy eating habits for their overall health.

And as part of the company’s overall initiative to promote a healthy lifestyle, IBMC is sponsoring the Larimer County Sheriff’s Jailbreak 4 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk in September, benefiting the Larimer County Child Advocacy Center.

Each month, leading up to the Jailbreak, IBMC will continue holding a themed photo contest for all employees. Employees are asked to submit a photo of themselves participating in a physical activity that contributes to their overall well-being.

Prizes will be given for the top three monthly photo submissions. Notifications will be posted on CAPS at the end of each month.

1st Prize – $25 Gift Card
2nd Prize – Water Bottle
3rd Prize – $5 Bookstore Bucks

Receiving first place in IBMC's contest, Melissa Newbanks and Rhi took a breath after the Larimer County Humane Society's 5K Fire Hydrant event.

Photos, along with a short caption, can be sent to getactive@ibmc.edu by the dates listed below.

July 25th – Explore the Great Outdoors!
August 24th – Travel Near or Far…

In September, IBMC will combine all photo entries and draw for 10 FREE registrations and event day t-shirts for the Jailbreak 4 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk, hosted on September 22nd at the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office, located at 2501 Midpoint Drive in Fort Collins.

Further event details and healthy habit tips will be posted on the Staff CAPS each week.
