IBMC Celebrates Providing Career Training to Students With Open House Events

Institute of Business & Medical Careers Provided Life-Changing Career Training to Students and Supplied Region’s Employers With Business, Medical, Paralegal and Massage Employees in the Past 25 Years

IBMC College Celebrates 25 Years of Career Training in Northern Colorado and Southern Wyoming

The Institute of Business & Medical Careers (IBMC) will celebrate 25 years of providing accelerated business, medical, legal and massage career training to thousands of individuals and supplying hundreds of businesses with skilled employees throughout Northern Colorado and Southern Wyoming.

To kick-off their Silver Anniversary, IBMC will hold Open House events at local campuses on Tuesday, August 28th from 6-8pm.

Rich Laub, CEO of the Institute of Business & Medical Careers, attributes hiring employees who align with IBMC’s culture of Caring People…Changing Lives, controlled growth strategies, listening to employers at bi-annual Advisory Board sessions and studying the employment needs of the region as components to the 25 years of success IBMC has had thus far: “We partner with local employers to place graduates in careers. We offer well-trained students to employers, locally. Employers come back to us for new hires and refer us to other employers in the area. It is a full circle with many of our graduates moving into management positions and coming back to IBMC for their employee needs.”

In honor of the 25 year milestone for IBMC, the first 25 attendees will receive a special gift. Drawings will be held for FREE student massages for a year from IBMC’s Massage Clinic (limit 1 massage per month). Tours and presentations will also be given. Guests will be served refreshments and have the chance to learn about skilled graduates for hire or student externs available at no-charge to employers, which allows employers that “extra set of hands” for a 5-week period and provides the student working experience in their individual field of study.

“We have recently hired a graduate from IBMC to our ophthalmology practice. We have hosted medical assistant externs in the past and have found them to be very well trained, in fact so much so that we hired our last extern.” Gary Stinson, Clinical Director, Eye Care Center of Northern Colorado

“I know that when I am in need of a trustworthy and professional employee, I can rely on IBMC to send me the best!” Diane Lathrop, Lawyer, Lathrop Law Office

Individuals, in different stages of life, have attended IBMC. Whether just out of high school, an adult without a formalized education, someone seeking a career change, an empty-nester or grandparent, this career college helps individuals realize their dreams and allows employers to be matched with trained graduates.

“I have enjoyed the opportunities my Medical Assisting Degree from IBMC has given me. It afforded me with the ability to work, while being a wife and mother of two daughters. I am currently employed at the Women’s Clinic of Northern Colorado. One of my favorite aspects of my job is having the opportunity to work with IBMC externs. Over the years, we have, in-turn, hired many fine students and look forward to future employees who come from IBMC.” Stacy Nipp, IBMC Graduate May 2008, Lead Medical Assistant of the Women’s Clinic of Northern Colorado

Melvina Romero, a 1998 IBMC Graduate and current Clinic Manager of Sunrise Loveland Community Health Center states, “I have finally found job satisfaction. Previously, I worked in assembly warehouse production before coming to IBMC. I wanted a career. I became a Medical Assistant and worked for two years at Sunrise Loveland Community Health Center. I was then promoted to Clinic Manager, where I have been for 14 years. It is so rewarding to know that I make a difference – whether just being there for a patient, listening or providing a triage of services to help with individual medical needs.”
