IBMC Cheyenne Hires Pharmacy Technician Instructor

The Institute of Business & Medical Careers, Inc. Welcomes Melissa Eames to Train Students Seeking a Pharmacy Technician Degree

The Institute of Business & Medical Careers, Inc. of Cheyenne, WY, 1854 Dell Range Boulevard, will provide students with the right dose of career training to be successful in the Pharmacy Technician Degree Program, where Melissa Eames has just been named Adjunct Instructor to help prepare adult learners with the skills needed to work in a pharmacy setting.

The IBMC Pharmacy Technician Degree Program provides students with the applicable skills and knowledge to ensure qualification for entry-level positions as a pharmacy technician. Under Eames’s tutelage, students will learn strong mathematical, organizational and technical skills needed to count and measure medication, manage inventories, and complete pharmaceutical dosage forms. This program includes an externship that will introduce learners to valuable workplace experience.

Eames worked as a Lead Pharmacy Technician from January 2007-May 2012 at Sweetbay Pharmacy in Tampa, Florida. She has also worked in the capacity of a Retail Sales Associate and Graduate Teaching Assistant. She graduated from the University of Southern Florida with a Master of Arts in Criminology and a Bachelors of Arts in Criminology and Political Science from the University of South Florida.

The Institute of Business and Medical Careers, Inc. (IBMC) is nationally accredited by the Accrediting Council of Independent Colleges and Schools. IBMC offers Diploma and Associate of Occupational Studies Degree Programs in Medical, Massage, Legal and Business fields. IBMC is currently enrolling students for upcoming classes in September.
