IBMC Cheyenne College Hires Financial Aid Counselor

Financial Aid Counselor to Provide Support for the Institute of Business & Medical Careers, Inc.’s Cheyenne Students

Five years’ experience of public school teaching in Kansas will give Amanda McLaughlin of Cheyenne , a unique perspective in her new role of Financial Aid Counselor at IBMC in Cheyenne, WY, 1854 Dell Range Blvd.

McLaughlin, in addition to her public school teaching experience, has been volunteering across the Midwest for the past three years.  At IBMC, she will be responsible for using her knowledge to help current and prospective students with their Financial Aid options and applications, making education available to a larger student base.

The programs at IBMC, geared for serving a foundation for each field offered, allow students of all demographics to combine critical thinking, researching, and writing skills in the classroom and during a mandatory externship.  IBMC gives technical training and practical skills to its students, preparing them for success in today’s competitive job market.

McLaughlin holds a B.A. in Chemistry Teaching from Bethany College in Lindsborg, KS, awarded in 2004.

The Institute of Business and Medical Careers offers Certificate, Diploma and Associate of Occupational Studies Degrees in Business, Healthcare, Massage Therapy and Legal Studies, with a Wyoming campus in Cheyenne, and Colorado campuses in Greeley, Fort Collins, and Longmont.
