The Institute of Business and Medical Careers (IBMC) celebrates Medical Assistants Recognition Week, October 15th-19th, across its four campuses: Fort Collins, CO; Longmont, CO; Greeley, CO; and Cheyenne, WY.

At IBMC, we take pride in offering fast, focused career training for those wanting to become a medical assistant.  The objective of our Medical Assistant program is to provide each student with the skills and knowledge that will enable him/her to qualify for an entry-level position in a career they love.

Medical Assistants Recognition Week
Institute of Business & Medical Careers honors Medical Assistants during MARWeek

Medical Assistants are an integral part of the healthcare industry and contribute greatly to a patient’s overall quality of care. With their breadth of skills (which may include monitoring of vital signs, injections, phlebotomy, preparation of lab specimens, equipment sterilization, EKGs, radiography assisting and dressing changes and suture removal), medical assistants perform a wide range of administrative and clinical tasks. Medical Assistants also act as the liaison between patient and physician and help foster a successful relationship between the two.

As a Medical Assistant, we know that you work hard to blend your passion for helping others with your commitment to performing your significant tasks to the utmost of your ability. Because of this, we honor you, current and future Medical Assistants, during Medical Assistants Recognition Week (MARWeek) from October 15th – 19th. IBMC thanks you for your dedication!
