Celebrate Heart Healthy Month 2013 in Fort Collins

IBMC Medical Careers Training College of Fort Collins is Hosting a Blood Drive, Jeans Days and “Go Red” to Promote Heart Health Month in February, Benefiting the American Heart Association.

The Institute of Business & Medical Careers asks students and faculty to join in the fight against the number #1 killer of women, heart disease.

IBMC medical college supports the American Heart Association during National Heart Health Month.

This February, national Heart Health Month, the Fort Collins college campus, located at 3842 South Mason Street, will hold special events to to help raise awareness for heart disease and encourage business, medical, massage and legal students, as well as employees, to be mindful of the warning signs of heart attack, stroke and cardiac arrest.

Campus activities will include the following:

  • Blood Drive – Donate blood on-campus and save a life on February 5th. Sign-up at the Education Desk to receive more details.
  • Jeans Day Wednesdays – All staff and students may wear jeans to IBMC’s Fort Collins campus by simply paying $1.00 at the Education Desk on February 6th, 13th, 20th and/or 27th. Contributors will receive a sticker granting them access to wear jeans during the day. All proceeds benefit the American Heart Association.
  • Go Red Day – On February 28th, wear red to show your support.
