Computer Support Specialist Program now Offered IBMC College Campuses
The Accrediting Council of Independent Colleges and Schools has approved IBMC College to offer Computer Support Specialist career training classes at campuses in Fort Collins, CO; Greeley, CO; Longmont, CO and Cheyenne, WY.
IBMC College announced that the Accrediting Council of Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) has granted permission to begin offering and enrolling students in the Computer Support Specialist Degree Program at IBMC campus locations in Fort Collins, CO; Greeley, CO; Longmont, CO and Cheyenne, WY.
This program is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions as Help Desk Technicians, Help Desk Support, Help Desk Analysts, Help Desk Specialists, and IBMC College’s own Career Services Coordinators work directly with employers to provide job placement assistance to graduates.

Students will be taught the skills needed to operate Microsoft Office, Windows Operating Systems, computer hardware, basic computer network technologies, formal help desk environments and mobile computing devices during their coursework.
Additionally, learners will be trained to provide technical assistance, deliver both customer and business support, problem solve, understand software application features and acquire valuable communication techniques needed to work with team members, colleagues and the general public.
Students will complete a 5-week externship, consisting of 120 hours – providing adult learners with valuable workplace experience, prior to completing their program.
Upon graduating and successful test completion, individuals will be certified as a Microsoft Office Specialist, receive A+ Certification and/or Network + Certification.
