IBMC College in Longmont Welcomes Walker to the Role of Campus President

Mark Walker joins the staff at IBMC, where he brings 35 years of combined experience in management, engineering, operations, marketing and sales at the local, corporate and national levels.
 
IBMC College in Longmont has hired Mark Walker to the position of Campus President, where he will lead staff members and continue to ensure that life-changing career training is provided to students in the areas of business, computer support, dental, healthcare, legal and massage therapy programs at the campus. Walker replaces former Longmont Campus President, Barbara Kearns, who transitioned into the role of Regional Director of Regulatory Affairs and Compliance for IBMC recently.

In his new position, he will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations at the campus and acting as a leader to the staff and faculty.  He is charged with the mission of ensuring compliance with all regulatory and statutory guidelines, delivering sound financial guidance and providing support to each college department, among a host of other duties.

In the last 35 years, he has worked in a variety of executive, director and managerial roles.  He has been employed at Executive Money, Inc. in Denver, CO; Ohio Center for Broadcasting in Denver, CO; Jobing.com in Denver, CO; LeSeas Broadcasting in Denver and Colorado Springs, CO; Starz Encore Group in Englewood, CO and Time Warner in Denver, CO.

Earlier in his career, Walker was employed at Retlaw Broadcasting in Monterey, CA; Sainte Broadcasting in Salinas, CA, KSCU-FM Radio in Santa Clara, CA and Mitty High School in San Jose, CA.

He holds an MBA in Marketing from Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ and a BA in Communications and Journalism from Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, CA.  In addition, he is a Master Graduate of Rapport Leadership International in Las Vegas, NV.
