Greeley College Hires Honse, Murphy and Van Rikxoord to Train Students

IBMC College in Greeley welcomes Michele Honse, Julianne Murphy and Tina Van Rikxoord to its growing faculty.

Michele Honse, Pharmacy Instructor

Michele Honse is an experienced Certified Pharmacy Technician who has been working in her field for over 15 years. Honse began her career as a Pharmacy Technician in 1999, where she worked at Samaritan Regional Hospital in Ashland, OH. In 2000, she graduated from North Central State College with an Associate Degree in Allied Science and became a Certified Pharmacy Technician through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board. Honse has worked at a number of different hospitals, pharmacies and healthcare institutions throughout Arizona. Additionally, she has been an instructor of Pharmacy Technician programs at Bryman School of Arizona, Brookline College in Tempe, AZ, and Valley Institute of Technology in Mesa, AZ. As an instructor for the Pharmacy Technician program at IBMC College, Honse will prepare students for successful pharmacy careers as she brings a wealth of experience and real-world examples to the classroom.

Julianne Murphy will be teaching a variety of courses at IBMC College, as she has been hired to provide general education classes to students who are at the beginning of their programs. With a B.A. in Chemistry from the University of Colorado at Boulder and an M.A. in Educational Leadership from the University of Northern Colorado, Murphy has an extensive educational background.

She has also been a Weld County school teacher for over 30 years, teaching a range of topics. Murphy’s unique teaching style, combined with her passion for helping students reach their personal and professional goals will be a great benefit to IBMC’s students.

As an instructor of business, Tina Van Rikxoord will also be joining IBMC College. Currently, she holds a B.A. in History from the University of Alberta and a Master of Business and Information Security Management from Jones International University. Since 1994, she has been teaching students from all backgrounds. Van Rikxoord began her teaching career as a Foreign Student Tutor and Teaching Assistant. Most recently, she has been an instructor at Liberty Tax Service in Fort Collins, CO. Van Rikxoord will ensure that students in the Business program develop a deep understanding of course concepts and become employable candidates for today’s job market.
