IBMC College Dental Assisting Adjunct Instructor – Dr. Steven Hutt

Dr. Steven Hutt is an accomplished dental professional with over 30 years of experience. Graduating with a D.D.S Degree from the Buffalo School of Dentistry in 1972, Hutt spent the next four years working as a Dental Intern and an Associate Dentist.

In 1976, Dr. Hutt opened his own private practice in Wyckoff, New Jersey, where he managed a 2 doctor, 13 staff member office until 2012. During that time, Dr. Hutt trained and managed dozens of Dental Assistants, helping them expand upon their C.D.A and R.D.A Certifications.

Dr. Steven Hutt was a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry from 1981- 2012, as well as a founding member of the Nantucket Dental Association. His vast dental experience, knowledge, and communication skills will be a great asset to the IBMC College Dental Assisting Program in Longmont, CO.

Students in the IBMC College Dental Assisting Program learn the clinical and administrative skills needed in dental offices, oral surgery centers, and public healthcare facilities. Students are trained to work alongside dentists, assist with chair-side procedures, interact with and comfort patients, perform equipment sterilizations, and learn how to effectively operate state-of-the-art equipment used in a dental office setting.
