IBMC College Has Hired A Medical Assisting Instructor

IBMC College has hired Lindy Ruiz as an Instructor in the Medical Assisting program at the Longmont campus, located at 2315 N. Main St.
Lindy Ruiz is an experienced medical professional and a former graduate of the Medical Assisting program at IBMC College in Greeley, CO. An accomplished student, she was on the President’s list, the Dean’s list, and was a member of the Alpha Beta Kappa Honor Society. She is currently working towards her Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree from Colorado Christian University. Lindy-Ruiz---Longmont---MA
In her career, Ruiz has worked for several well-known medical facilities; Northern Colorado Medical Center, Northern Colorado Heart & Lung Association, Life Care Centers of America – Longmont, as well as owning the Master’s Hands, her own healthcare education business.
With over 25 years of medical experience under her belt, Lindy Ruiz will be a valued and respected addition to the Longmont Faculty.
At IBMC College, students to train in as little as 15-19 months to become Nationally Certified Medical Assistants, when following the prescribed coursework and successfully completing the necessary exams. Hands-on classes prepare students with skills needed for : injections, vital sign measurements, phlebotomy, preparation of lab specimens, equipment sterilization, EKGs, radiography, dressing changes, and suture removal, as well as administrative and front office skills.
