IBMC College Students Volunteer At Weld Project Connect

 

IBMC College took part in the 5th annual Weld Project Connect on Saturday, October 17th at Island Grove Regional Park in Greeley, Colorado. FB_IMG_1445353576240

More than 1,350 people attended the event, which offered free services for Weld County residents who needed them. Services ranged from flu shots to haircuts, with a number of medical, financial, legal and many other services provided.

IBMC College had 11 student volunteers attend this year’s event. Cosmetology students provided a staggering 241 free haircuts for Weld County residents. IBMC College would like to thank all of our student volunteers who donated their time and skills to help others in their community. Watch the video

The Weld Project Connect is a joint effort between the city of Greeley, the Board of Weld County Commissioners, United FB_IMG_1445353584108Way of Weld County, North Colorado Medical Center and many others, offered about 68 different services at no cost to residents.
