Former Weld County teacher to assist college students with career placement, much more
Greeley, Co. — The Greeley campus of IBMC College welcomes Roxanne Welch to its Career Services department. In her role as a Career Services Coordinator, Welch will work closely with current students, graduates and local employers.
Welch, who has more than six years of experience in education working for school districts across Weld County, will utilize her excellent interpersonal and strong networking skills to build connections with hiring managers and employers in the Greeley area. In doing so, she will be able to match highly-qualified students and graduates with local businesses for externships and career placements.
Additionally, Welch will provide students and graduates with a variety of resources that will assist them in today’s competitive job market. They will learn résumé-writing tips, interviewing skills and follow-up techniques, how to network effectively and more.
Earning her Bachelor of Arts in Social Science in 2011 and her Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction, both from Western Governors University, Welch brings a wealth of knowledge to her position at IBMC College.
