IBMC College is preparing for the upcoming semesters and as such we are in need immediately for qualified teaching professionals to join our team!

IBMC has been a premier provider of career education in the Northern and Southern Colorado, and Cheyenne, Wyoming regions for over 25 years.

Instructors and Educators are needed in the following program area (across all shifts – morning, afternoon and evening hour coverage needed):

Business (with Accounting experience) – must have Bachelor’s degree (teaching experience preferred)

Medical Assisting program – CMA/RMA licensure and at least 3 years of full time work in the field that can be documented – strong need for theory and hands-on class experience

Medical Billing & Coding program – licensure and at least 3 years of full time work in the field or 5 years of full time work without a license

Massage program – licensure and at least 3 years of full time work in the field – hands on and lecture classes

Dental Assisting program – licensure and at least 3 years of full time work in the field or 5 years of full time work without a license

Personal Training program – licensure and at least 3 years of full time work in the field of personal training or 5 years without a license

 

Essential Duties
•Provide in-class instruction/lecture and hands-on training as required by course content in two or four hour sessions every five weeks as scheduled.
•Provide support with site visits and grading for externship class as needed.
•Prepare for classroom lecture and hands-on training activities daily.
•Substitute for classes (qualified to teach per accreditation standards) as assigned by Faculty Manager
•Attend required in-service, or company meetings annually.
•Volunteer to assist with any curriculum updates and support as requested
•Maintain confidentiality of all work information.

Other Duties
•Substitute teach approved classes as needed.
•Lead student groups or tutoring sessions as needed.
•Support Student Services efforts pertaining to retention and placement

Working Conditions
Work is performed in a classroom and/or lab environment on a college campus requiring outdoor driving to commute to campuses.
