Donating blood and saving lives piqued the interest of 14 participants for this year’s Garth Englund Blood Drive event at the Fort Collins college campus, which was hosted at 3842 South Mason Street on February 5, 2013.

The blood donations will be used for surgical procedures and blood transfusions in patients at the Medical Center of the Rockies and Poudre Valley Hospital.

Typically, a whole blood donation can help as many as three people, meaning as many as 42 individuals in need of medical care may be helped from by community members, IBMC students, staff and faculty coming together for this important event.
