IBMC celebrates National Massage Therapy Awareness Week and honors Therapeutic Massage students.

At IBMC Fort Collins and IBMC Cheyenne, students from the Therapeutic Massage program were asked to join guest speakers for a “Lunch and Learn.” At the Fort Collins College, Kari Firth, founder of Practice in Action, presented on a variety of cutting-edge marketing topics specific to massage therapists. The IBMC Cheyenne College was pleased to host Mike Quinn, D.C., as its featured guest speaker. Cheyenne students were also treated to a pasta lunch from Olive Garden.

IBMC Greeley students were invited along on two field trips, one at Serenity Spa and the other at Conditioning Spa Health & Fitness, both located in Greeley, CO. Students from this campus had the opportunity to experience a “behind the scenes” tour of each facility and interact with facility managers. IBMC Longmont College treated students to a dessert reception where they were able to interact with peers and discuss their journey of becoming a Registered Massage Therapist!
