IBMC College Welcomes Angellina Ramirez to Admissions Department

Former admissions consultant to join the Cheyenne campus’ team as new representative

CHEYENNE, Wyo.IBMC College, a locally owned career-training institution, has named Angellina Ramirez as the new Admissions Representative at its Cheyenne campus, 1854 Dell Range Blvd.

Ramirez, who has a strong background in education, will be in charge of meeting with prospective students and parents on campus, giving tours, and aiding other members of IBMC’s Admissions Department. She will be joining current Admissions Representative Hannah Hovar, who was brought onto the team in late December last year.

The programs at IBMC College allow students of all demographics to combine hands-on training in the classroom and real-world experience during a mandatory externship. IBMC gives technical training and practical skills to its students, preparing them for success in today’s competitive job market.

Before joining IBMC, Ramirez was employed as a business office manager for Tomorrow’s Promise Child Care and Learning Center in Rawlins and as an admissions consultant and outreach coordinator for CollegeAmerica in Cheyenne. She has also worked for the Wyoming Highway Patrol and the Rawlins Police Department as a communications operator, as well as many other administrative positions.

Ramirez is currently working toward her bachelor’s degree in business management from Western Governors University and has earned her Associates of Arts in Social Science from Western Wyoming Community College in Rawlins in 2008.

Ramirez also has gained experience through her volunteer work, where she was involved in the Rawlins City Planning Commission as a volunteer for the Habitat for Humanity Committee. She has also volunteered for the Boys & Girls Club as a crisis victims’ advocate.

Her experience will be beneficial to the students and staff at IBMC College.
