Instructor Uses Hands-on Approach to Heal Athletes With Tailored Massages

Athletes need specialized treatment. Byron Thomas, an instructor at the Institute of Business and Medical Careers in Longmont, CO, provides customized massages and offer relief to people seeking help eliminating and easing pain.

Whether kicking a soccer ball, spiking a volleyball or running for a touch down, athletes often times find themselves experiencing muscle soreness, injuries or tension.

For Bryon Thomas, taking away the discomfort is what he does best. Owning his own practice in the Longmont area, he welcomes the opportunity to expand his business, but has most recently taken his knowledge into the classrooms of IBMC to help teach students the hands-on, accelerated career training skills they need to obtain a diploma or degree in the the School of Massage and Healing Arts and begin a career in the massage industry.
