IBMC takes a hands-on approach in our medical classrooms. With the help of experienced instructors, students become skilled in this healthcare field by performing blood draws, injections, suture removal, dressing changes, casting, equipment sterilization, and medical related procedures. Phlebotomy and blood-borne pathogen training is also provided.

During the last five weeks of courses, you will participate in an externship in a medical clinic, healthcare facility or physician’s office.

After successfully graduating and passing the RMA Exam, you will enter into the healthcare career field as a Nationally Registered Medical Assistant from the American Medical Technologists. Furthermore, you will be certified in CPR, First Aid, and automated external defibrillator tactics.
