IBMC College is pleased to announce Melissa Meltzer, Bob White and Sandy Debates were recognized by the Colorado Association of Career Colleges and Schools (CACCS) for their outstanding service to education at its annual banquet and fall workshop on Oct. 21, held at the Double Tree Hilton in Denver.
This year, Melissa Meltzer, IBMC College’s Senior Faculty Manager at the Greeley campus, was named the Staff of the Year. Additionally, two IBMC College instructors – Bob White, Paralegal Studies program at the Greeley campus, and Sandy Debates, Medical Laboratory Technician program at the Colorado Springs campus – were named as finalists.
“I was honored to be nominated by our staff and faculty at the Greeley campus,” Meltzer said. “It’s a great thing having the opportunity to do something I love — working with staff and faculty to partner with our students in their academic endeavors to realize their dreams!”
The winners were selected on the basis of their commitment, performance, leadership and professionalism. The selection committee considered their achievements, interaction with peers, extracurricular activities, participation in professional and student organizations, tutoring, mentoring and display of a positive attitude.
“We are blessed to have an entire team of Caring Individuals … Changing Lives,” Eric Thompson, IBMC College Greeley Campus President, stated in an email announcing the winner. “Thank you for your heart, your support and your leadership!”
IBMC College is honored to have such a dedicated group of individuals to lead our campuses and encourage our students to perform at their best every day. We congratulate Melissa, Bob and Sandy on their achievements!
