Technology Support Specialist Joins IBMC College’s Home Office

Lon Widger joins the IT Staff at IBMC College’s Home Office in the role of Technology Support Specialist. His skill-sets will be a valuable asset to the company.

Lon Widger, an IT Specialist with more than 14 years in the industry, will provide tech-support to the staff and students of IBMC College’s Fort Collins, Greeley, Longmont, CO and Cheyenne, WY campuses.

Keeping more than 1,000 students and 280 faculty connected on a variety of devices is not an easy task.  As the new Technology Support Specialist for IBMC College, Lon Widger will bring his expertise in computer technical support and web-based applications to the school.

Prior to joining IBMC College, Widger worked as the Technical Support Agent for Constant Contact, where he focused on troubleshooting existing code and provided email support for web-based applications.

He was employed by Sykes for over eight years as a Technical Support Representative, a year at Maxtor and UAP for two years as a Support Center Analyst.

He majored in Computer Information Systems at Devry Institute of Technology, received his A+ Certification from CompTIA and completed an extensive amount of computer programming classes at Morgan Community College.
