We gear our accelerated programs with hands-on approaches and tailor courses based on the skill-sets that employers are looking for in the business, computer support, cosmetology, dental, healthcare, legal, therapeutic massage and personal training sectors.

EMPLOYER ADVISORY BOARD
IBMC College’s Employer Advisory Board is comprised of area employers and professionals, who provide input regarding curriculum content and to apprise the College of current technology, including equipment selection, need for trained personnel, externship sites, extended learning opportunities, and career placement.
Our College serves more than 1,000 students and tends to be more heavily dominated by a female population.
These adult learners often come from a variety backgrounds:

- Military spouses and veterans

EXTERNSHIPS AND EXPERIENCE
For nearly all programs, students are placed in an externship in their area of study.
- Cosmetology Program
These students receive real-world experience working on individuals and mannequins in the on-campus Student Beauty Clinic, in lieu of a traditional externship site placement.
- Therapeutic Massage Program
These students receive real-world experience working on individuals in the on-campus Massage Clinic, or can be placed in a traditional externship site to fulfill their Clinical Practicum.
