2010 Graduate Marissa Orchard opens her own business in Fort Collins

Marissa’s journey began back in 2008 while studying journalism at another college. She realized one day that she did not have a passion for what she was doing and felt lost in her studies. Like so many other young people who are confused about school and a career, Marissa chose to do something drastic. She took a semester off to try and figure out her life and goals. Little did she know, that decision would change her life!
Marissa decided that she wanted a career where she could work with people, she wanted to help them achieve their goals, and improve their quality of life. So she decided to follow in the footsteps of her older sister and pursue a career in Massage Therapy. Marissa quickly began searching for massage schools in her local area and found IBMC College in Fort Collins.

Working in the Beauty Industry is More Than a Career, it’s a Passion for Brandy Winegarner

Brandy Winegarner, a graduate from IBMC College’s School of Cosmetology’s Hairstyling Certificate program, sSchool-of-Cosmetology-IBMC-College-Greeley-Fort Collins-Longmont-Cheyennehares how her new career allows her to make a beautiful impact in the lives of others, even beyond the mirror.

Brandy Winegarner, the mother of a sweet 2-year-old little girl and loving wife, came to IBMC College because she was passionate about pursuing a career training in cosmetology field. She took a moment to share how life-changing this path has been for her and others since graduating in May 2014.  Read more.

IBMC Massage School Graduate Hired at Muscle Restoration
The Muscle Restoration pain management clinic of Fort Collins, CO welcomes IBMC College’s School of Fort Collins Open House MassageMassage Therapy graduate, Julia DeDiemar, to the position of Massage Therapist.

She brings with her advanced training in Core Techniques, Foundations of Orthopedic and Sports Massage and Sports Injuries, Dysfunctions of the Cervical Spine and Upper Extremity, as well as a passion for helping others. DeDiemar recently earned her degree from IBMC College’s School of Massage Therapy and Healing Arts at the Fort Collins, CO campus, 3842 South Mason Street. A Step in the Right Direction Leads Manny Sotelo to a Flourishing Career

Born in Mexico, Manny Sotelo came to the United States to live in Johnstown, CO, as a 6-year-old boy with his six older siblings. The Land of Freedom promised opportunity for the Sotelos, but daily, Manny witnessed his parents battling financial struggles while trying to raise a family and put food on the table. With a loving stay-at-home mother and a father who worked as a farmer, his parents labored to provide for him and his siblings. Read more.
