This course is good for those seeking advanced level training in the field of nail technology. Students will be trained in the practice of how to safely use an electric file when performing nail services.

Course Description
This program is continuing education training for licensed Cosmetologists and/ or Nail Technicians. Upon successful completion of this course students will have the basic knowledge and skills to be competent to use an electric nail file. Upon successful completion of this course students will receive a Certificate of Completion proving written documentation of the required 8 hours of state mandated training.
Students will learn the use of the drill when performing services on natural and artificial nails as well as pedicures.
Safety, sanitation and laws and rules will be covered in the course. Upon completion, the student will be eligible to perform services using a nail drill.
Students will cover materials in the following areas:
- Cleaning and disinfection
- Client protection
- Machine/tool/bit use
- Safety and sanitation
