Build Skills through Hands-On Vocational Training

Career Training is about more than learning the material. IBMC College combines instruction with practical training that gives students opportunities to apply what they are learning with hands-on activities and training in the classroom.

Depending on your program, that may include working with industry-related technology, software, equipment, labs and real-world scenarios designed to reinforce the skills taught in class.

What Our Longmont Students Say

Alexandra Mondragon Banuelos, Medical Assisting Program Graduate - Longmont Campus
Right now I'm a medical assistant. I am working at MBI right now. Before IBMC I just graduated from high school and I was doing a break before doing what I wanted to do, and I knew I wanted to go into the medical field somehow. So I was like, you know what? A good start to that would be becoming a medical assistant. My favorite part of the program was for sure the how much hands-on we had. I liked how quick it was and how efficient it was. Like I felt like the more hands-on I did, the more I would understand what I was doing. Words of advice would really be, enjoy your time, take your time with your things, and just honestly have fun with it. Shout out to myself for doing it and my friends and my family out there.
Mariah Kitzman, Esthetician Program Graduate - Longmont Campus
I think it’s cool that the makeup industry can’t really ever die out. So you can always meet really cool people that way. What would I say to somebody considering enrolling at IBMC? Do it. Just do it. Honestly, the teachers and especially Mary—she always just made sure that I had everything that I needed and helped me accommodate anyway I needed.
Yathziry Cordova, Cosmetology Program Graduate - Longmont Campus
I am starting my own business in Lash Extensions. Just expanding my business more and branching out to do more facials and specialize more in chemical peels and Lash Extensions. Honestly, it's a great program. You get to meet lifelong friends that I'm currently here with. And I don't think that I'll ever stop being friends with them and you honestly learn so much about the industry without even realizing it and you're a lot more prepared at the end of it than you think you are.
