Cheyenne Campus’ Green Team Participates in City Clean-Up
The mission of IBMC College’s Green Team is to instill a sense of environmental awareness in students, staff and faculty while reducing our environmental footprint and creating consistency among all of our IBMC College locations. The team is committed to acting consciously and each member strives to be more sustainable in their practices.
On Saturday, June 7, the Cheyenne Green Team from IBMC College, along with their family and friends, braved the damp weather to clean up the city that they call home. While working along Dry Creek, the 35 participants collected enough litter to fill 75 trash bags over the course of two hours! Plastic bottles, cardboard signs, a computer monitor and an old tire were just some of the items recovered by the Green Team.
As a reward for their hard work, Green Team members and those who accompanied them enjoyed a celebratory pizza party. We thank all of the participants for their time and we appreciate your commitment to keeping the environment clean.
