LABS AND IN-CLASS TRAINING
At IBMC College, we believe in your success. That’s why every part of your program is designed to look, feel, and function like your future career industry — from your classrooms and labs, to your projects and schedule. Our experienced instructors will thoroughly train you by walking you through tasks applicable to your field.
A cosmetologist may practice hairstyling or skin and nail care on clients and peers, while a medical assistant will learn by checking and recording the vital signs of her classmates. Each program is designed to equip you with the essential skills of your chosen career.
EXTERNSHIPS & CLINICAL EXPERIENCE
You’ll have the opportunity to start working in a business or healthcare setting during your externship. Similar to an internship, you’ll be treated as a regular employee of the company. That means you’ll be able to put industry work experience on your resume — before you even graduate. Many IBMC students are hired on as employees after completing their externships.
IBMC College Cosmetology, Hairstyling, Esthetician and Therapeutic Massage students gain real-world experience by perfecting their skills in the on-campus Student Beauty Services and Massage Clinics. Students will interact with clients to master hands-on practical skills and perform services for clients and guests.
