IBMC Cheyenne Pharmacy Technician Program Receives ASHP Accreditation
The Institute of Business & Medical Careers of Cheyenne has announced that the Pharmacy Technician Program is now accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.
For almost 70 years, ASHP has been on the forefront of efforts to improve medication use and enhance patient safety. Their advocacy efforts, publications, and educational offerings are designed to advance specific practices and improve patient care.
Located at 1854 Dell Range Blvd. in Cheyenne, WY, IBMC teaches students to work in the exciting healthcare field by earning a Pharmacy Technician Degree, giving students the skills, hands-on training and instruction to provide patients accurate, complete services.
Prior to graduation, IBMC students are required to complete a 5-week externship in the field, giving them “real world” career experience and opening their eyes to life as a pharmacist.
