IBMC College Co-hosted A Business Before Hours Event
IBMC College co-hosted a Business Before Hours Event with the Greeley Chamber of Commerce this week. We hosted over 50 local businesses at our Greeley campus on Wednesday morning.
The local business professionals, business owners, and Chamber members were invited to our College campus to meet, network, and share community business ideas. Guests had the opportunity to tour the campus and our Student Beauty Services Clinic. Guests were also treated to a catered breakfast, prepared by the University of Northern Colorado Food Services
Jason Resnick of Greeley School District 6, a first time visitor to IBMC College had this to say when asked about the event. “I enjoyed visiting with the pleasant staff at IBMC, the tour was great and the Beauty Clinic’s modern facility really stood out to me. I definitely encourage others to attend future events at IBMC.”
Department.
We are excited to announce the Business Before Hours event was a success, and we identified some great opportunities to work with other local businesses.
• Multiple new externship sites identified
• Multiple placement opportunities
• Several part-time job sites for our students and graduates
• Guest Speaker scheduled from University of Colorado Health Emergency Department
• Numerous tours given
• Networking, networking, networking!
We heard nothing but exceptionally positive feedback and compliments about our facilities and staff.
A special THANK YOU to everyone who helped out! It takes a village to create opportunities for our students, and today was a BIG WIN!
