As a Medical Assisting student at IBMC College, you will learn through hands-on instruction by industry-trained instructors, attending lecture classes, and participating in medical clinical labs.
The emphasis is on clinical skills including instruction in medical terminology, medical office procedures, medical clinical procedures, as well as basic anatomy and physiology, and pharmacology.
You will enjoy working with other students in labs while learning the skills you need for your new career such as: taking vitals, injections, preparation of lab specimens, equipment sterilization, dressing changes, suture removal, casting, and EKGs.
We’re focused on career training — not just general education — so you will be job ready and can apply these practical skills you learn to your new career immediately upon graduation.
