What to Expect as a Student
As a Business Administration student at IBMC College, you will attend lecture classes with our industry-trained instructors and work alongside other students on professional business projects and assignments.
Students will obtain a wide background in both business administration procedures and accounting concepts that are used in the workplace. Externships & Career Opportunities
As a part of your education, you’ll have the opportunity to work as an extern for a local company or business during your 5-week externship.
An externship allows you to work alongside industry professionals and gives you a chance to use your learned skills, get workplace practice, and add valuable experience to your resume. Similar to an internship, your employer will evaluate your work for college credit. Often, IBMC College students are even hired on as full-time employees after completing their externships.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, business and financial occupations are projected to grow as fast as average of all occupations through 2026 — an employment increase of 3%-9%, depending on your profession of choice.**
