Longmont’s Business Leaders Shape Curriculum at IBMC

The Institute of Business and Medical Careers Uses Industry Experts’ Knowledge to Help Shape Curriculum and Career Training for Students in Longmont, CO.
Twelve business leaders were inducted to the Longmont Advisory Board at the Institute of Business and Medical Careers on September 9th.
The IBMC Advisory Board is comprised of professionals, employers and prior graduates from the Northern Colorado Region. These members come from a variety of business, medical, legal and therapeutic massage backgrounds – which reflect the programs and coursework offered at IBMC.
The Board’s primary function is to consult and advise IBMC concerning current knowledge of employment needs within the community. This pertinent information is utilized to update IBMC curriculum content, provide feedback to train students in a variety of modalities and better help externs as they become employees in the workplace.
