IBMC College has a hairstyling school in Fort Collins, CO – one that allows future stylists to train for a career in hairstyling in 12 months, when following the prescribed coursework for the Hairstyling Certificate program.
Throughout the program, students receive feedback and training from highly-experienced educators. Then, students put their skills into motion while working with mannequins and actual guests in the on-campus Student Beauty Services Clinic – a state-of-the-art type of salon that offers haircuts, up-dos, styling, coloring, perms, chemical relaxing treatments and so much more!
To further the educational experiences of those in the Fort Collins hairstyling school, students will gain a foundation in safety practices, like sanitation and disinfection, and business development and management skills – areas that prepare those in the Hairstyling Certificate program for the State Board Examination.
Upon successful completion of the program and passing of the Examination, trained hairstylist graduates can work in beauty salons, day spas, or residential facilities. Some even open their own businesses!
