IBMC’s Medical Billing And Coding Program will be Taught by Oakley
Rebecca Oakley brings eight years of medical office and billing experience to the classrooms at the Longmont campus.
The Medical Billing and Coding program at IBMC College in Longmont, CO welcomes Rebecca Oakley to the position of Adjunct Instructor, where she will teach students who are pursuing a Medical Billing and Coding Degree or diploma.
She will work alongside members of the faculty in the School of Allied Healthcare Careers to train students for a profession in medical billing and coding in as little as 15-19 months.
Additionally, as an Adjunct Instructor, Oakley will be responsible for preparing students with training in ICD-9, insurance reimbursements, physician chart auditing, HIPPA privacy, billing and collections.
Prior to joining IBMC College’s staff, she worked for Orthotic Prosthetic Solutions as a Patient Services Coordinator in Fort Collins from 2008-2014, Maxwell Systems as a Customer Service Representative from 2007-2008 and Lung Diagnostics as a Medical Biller from 2005-2007.
Oakley is a graduate of Fort Collins High School and Travel Education Institute, where she successfully completed the Travel Agent program.
