IBMC College Recognized at ACICS Centennial
The Institute of Business & Medical Careers, Inc. Achieves Coveted Honor Roll Status
The Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools recognized the Institute of Business & Medical Careers, Inc. (IBMC) for demonstrating quality, integrity and excellence during an ACICS awards ceremony in Las Vegas on Nov. 11. The ceremony was part of a four-day event including a Professional Development Conference and Centennial Gala celebrating ACICS’ 100 years of advancing excellence in education.
IBMC was among 33 ACICS-accredited schools deemed Honor Roll Institutions from August 2011 to August 2012 based on peer evaluation reviews measuring institutional quality. Objective criteria included the speed with which shortcomings were addressed.
“ACICS prides itself in establishing and enforcing the highest standards of educational excellence, and evaluates the success of its member schools through a comprehensive process approved by the Department of Education and Council for Higher Accreditation,” Dr. Al Gray, Executive Director of ACICS, said. “By achieving Honor Roll status, IBMC has distinguished itself as an outstanding institution dedicated to the success of its students.”
“Leading students to a better life, through accelerated career training, is the Institute of Business & Medical Careers’ mission. For the past 25 years, IBMC has helped students throughout the Northern Colorado and Wyoming to achieve their goals and begin new careers.” Steven Steele, President, Institute of Business & Medical Careers
The awards ceremony concluded ACICS’ Centennial Celebration, which began with professional development workshops on Nov. 8.
