Ft. Collins Business and Medical College Takes a “Time-out” to Award Students
Institute of Business & Medical Careers Awards College Students for Academic Excellence
The Fort Collins Institute of Business & Medical Careers college kick-offed the Student Awards Assembly with a Super Bowl themed event on January 31st for adult students enrolled in the Business, Medical, Legal and Massage programs at the Fort Collins campus, 3842 South Mason Street.
Rising Star Award – This award is provided to new students within the first five to ten weeks of his or her program. The student must demonstrate academic excellence, good behavior, perfect attendance and a dedication to his/her particular area of study. The following students were awarded: Marissa Herbert, Blair Severin and Tracy Tan.
Star Student Award – Award recipients are students who have been enrolled at IBMC for longer than 10 weeks. Good grades, ethical behavior and adhering to the attendance policy are requirements to receive this honor. The following were named Star Students this session: Allyson Fickess, Shannon Kaiser and Barbara Petty.
Student of the Quarter – These students maintain high grade point averages, demonstrate professionalism, serve as role models to their peers and regularly attend class with a positive attitude. These students were named Student of the Quarter: Deb Easter, Breanna Gill and Janice Stewart.
