February is National Heart Health Month
The Institute of Business & Medical Careers Training College is Hosting Events During Heart Health Month, Benefiting the American Heart Association
IBMC asks students and faculty to join in the fight against the number #1 killer of women, heart disease.
This February, national Heart Health Month. This month, the Fort Collins, CO; Greeley, CO; Longmont, CO and Cheyenne WY campuses will be holingd special events to to help raise awareness for heart disease and encourage business, medical, massage and legal students, as well as employees, to be mindful of the warning signs of heart attack, stroke and cardiac arrest.
The remaining campus activities include the following activities:
- Jeans Day Wednesdays – All staff and students may wear jeans to IBMC’s Fort Collins campus by simply paying $1.00 at the Education Desk on February 6th, 13th, 20th and/or 27th. Contributors will receive a sticker granting them access to wear jeans during the day. All proceeds benefit the American Heart Association.
- Go Red Day – On February 28th, wear red to show your support.
