Career Training College in Cheyenne Honors Faculty, Staff and Students for Stellar Achievements

The Institute of Business & Medical Careers awards those whose positive attitudes make an impact on campus.

Cheyenne, WY (February 11, 2013): IBMC, a career training college in Cheyenne, WY, has recently honored ten individuals that make a positive impact on the Cheyenne campus on a day-to-day basis. Their can-do attitudes and warm demeanor, combined with their unparalleled dedication has been recognized and appreciated by their peers.

Rising Star Award: To qualify for this award, a student must have recently enrolled in one of IBMC’s medical, legal, business or massage programs. He/she demonstrates academic excellence, integrity, adherence to IBMC’s attendance policy and a noticeable commitment to his/her program of study. The following students received the Rising Star Award: Matthew Harbick and Dorthea (Koleka) Escritor.

Star Student Award: Recipients of this award have been enrolled in career training at IBMC for more than 10 weeks. They achieve exceptional grades, demonstrate a strong desire to learn and succeed and miss little class. This session, the following Cheyenne college students received this award: O’Randy Finch, Vanessa Van Arnam and Misty Vance.

Student of the Quarter: The winners of this award are selected by their peers for having an influential attitude and positive outlook. They exhibit professionalism, earn outstanding grades and remain committed to attending class daily. The Students of the Quarter for this session are: Annette Comstock, Chelsi Newton and Leslie Vallee.

Faculty of the Quarter: The recipient of this honor is a faculty member at the Cheyenne campus who exhibits a profound commitment to helping students succeed. He/ she brings a light-hearted attitude to the classroom, while providing detailed, hands-on instruction. This session’s recipient is Adam Lanning, an instructor for the massage and medical programs at IBMC.

Staff of the Quarter: The winner of this award personifies IBMC’s mission statement: Caring individuals, changing lives. As a member of the IBMC staff, he/she constantly engages in positive interactions with students and faculty and exhibits a genuine willingness to help where needed. Jami Zenner, Registrar/Scheduler at the Cheyenne campus is this session’s winner.
