IBMC College announces new credit transfer agreement with National American University

IBMC College has begun a new articulation partnership with National American University (NAU) that will allow IBMC College graduates to pursue further education at NAU using college credits earned from IBMC.
Graduates from IBMC College’s certificate, diploma and associate degree programs can now transfer all of their college credits to National American University.
NAU is also offering a discount in tuition for those seeking an associate, bachelor’s or master’s degree upon completing their IBMC College education. The discount will reduce the tuition to $330 per credit hour, regardless of the listed credit cost, in all programs offered at NAU.
“A typical IBMC College graduate will go directly to work in the field they were trained,” IBMC College’s CEO, Steve Steele said. “Two or three years down the road, students may want to add to their IBMC College education by getting a bachelor’s degree.”
NAU offers online programs in Healthcare, Business and Beauty, complementing IBMC’s programs in Medical Assisting, Medical Billing and Coding, Dental Assisting, Therapeutic Massage, Business Administration and Accounting, Paralegal, Cosmetology, Hairstyling and Esthetician.
Steele explained that there are transfer paths created by the partnership for every program IBMC College offers.
“A Cosmetology grad can earn a bachelor’s in Health and Beauty Management at NAU. …A paralegal could use IBMC diploma credit hours toward a bachelor’s in Paralegal Studies,” Steele said.
IBMC College also announced this month it has shortened its Therapeutic Massage Diploma program from 15 months to just 10 months. This follows the reduction in program length for the college’s Medical Assisting, Dental Assisting and Cosmetology programs earlier this year.
IBMC College is enrolling now for its July 16, 2018 start date.
