IBMC College in Greeley to Participate in 2014 Career Vision Expo

Local Weld County career training institution, IBMC College, will share professional advice and job market information with high school students and young career seekers.

On May 2, 2014, Employment Services of Weld County, Aims Community College, Weld Central High School and Valley High School will be hosting the 2014 Career Vision Expo, located at the Fort Lupton campus of Aims Community College from 9:00am to 11:30am.

Designed to provide young adults with information about future career opportunities, professional goal setting and employment statistics, this community event is open to local high school juniors and seniors and the public. Trish Bowen, Greeley Campus President of IBMC College, and Darla McNaney, Lead Admissions Representative, will be interacting with attendees who may be interested in pursuing accelerated career training for the business, cosmetology, dental, healthcare, massage therapy, paralegal, or technology fields. In addition, they will be answering questions about types of job positions, starting wages for entry-level employees, necessary experience and required education for a variety of different career paths.

This event, which encourages youth to succeed and teaches young adults about regional occupations, necessary life skills and good work ethic, has been a great addition to the community. IBMC College is excited for the opportunity to participate and connect with the estimated 600 attendees.
