Colorado Association of Legal Support Staff Hosts Board Meeting and Education Conference on May 3rd at IBMC College in Fort Collins

Seminars on recreational marijuana and a presentation on Blackstone’s Equation, a documentary on Tim Masters, will take place.  Both members and non-members of CALSS are invited to attend.

IBMC College in Fort Collins is hosting the Colorado Association of Legal Support Board Meeting at the campus on May 3rd.

The 2014 Board Meeting and Education Conference of the Colorado Association of Legal Support Staff will be held at IBMC College in Fort Collins, 3842 South Mason Street, on May 3rd at 8:30am.

Ian McCarger, Town Attorney for the Town of Windsor, and Lindsay Steele-Idem, Associate for Myatt Brandes & Gast PC, will present on the topic of Recreational Marijuana.

Nicholas Bernhard, Composer and Filmmaker, will give a presentation on Blackstone’s Equation, a documentary of Tim Master’s, who was convicted of first-degree murder based on stories and drawings he made as a teenager.

8:30-9:00 a.m. – Registration
9:00-10:15 a.m. – Seminar 1: Recreational Marijuana – Ian McCarger and Lindsay Steele-Idem
10:15-10:30 a.m. – Break
10:30-11:45 a.m. – Seminar 2: Blackstone’s Equation by Nicholas Bernhard, Director of Documentary regarding Tim Masters
11:45-12:45 p.m. – Lunch (provided)
12:45 p.m. – 1:15 p.m. Scavenger Hunt for Scholarship Fund
1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. CALSS Third Board Meeting
3:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Social & Networking Time

All attendees MUST be pre-registered by April 28th.  CALSS member registration cost is $25, student non-members may attend for $30, and all other non-members will be charged $35.
