AART Registered Technologist Brings Experience to the Medical Classrooms of IBMC in Longmont
Institute of Business and Medical Careers, Inc, Welcomes New Adjunct Instructor in Healthcare
Longmont, CO (October 25, 2012): – With fourteen years in the Medical field, Phyllis Rhoades will honor the IBMC Medical classrooms as the newest Adjunct Instructor in the School of Allied Health in Longmont, CO, 2315 N. Main St. Using her experience as a Registered Technologist, Rhoades will train students with the essential skills needed to pursue a profession in the healthcare industry.
Rhoades worked for six years at Sentara Princess Anne Family Practice in Virginia and nearly six years at Bothwell Health Center Truman Lake in Missouri as a radiological technologist. Her skills include radiography, computed tomography, dexa-scan, phlebotomy, urinalysis, and other various lab testing. IBMC’s Medical Assisting students will benefit significantly from Rhoades’ hands-on field experience.
The Healthcare Programs at IBMC train students in real-life experiences involving the healthcare industry. IBMC believes that enthusiasm, professionalism, ethics, and strive for excellence are solid components in all healthcare training classrooms, preparing students for life and work in the medical field.
Rhoades received her Associate of Science Degree in Radiological Technology from Tidewater Community College in Virginia Beach, VA in 1998.
