Adjunct Allied Health Instructor hired at IBMC College in Colorado Springs
IBMC College has hired Karen Cardozo as an Adjunct Instructor in the Allied Health program at the Colorado Springs campus, located at 6805 Corporate Drive.
Karen Cardozo joins IBMC College from Mountain View Medical Group, where she has been a Medical Coder since 2012. Gaining experience in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and a Family Practice. Cardozo also worked during this time for College America, Instructing classes ICD, CPT, and Modifier Coding.
Karen attending Intellitec Medical Institute, graduating in 2009 with an Associate’s degree in Applied Science, Medical Administrative Assistant. She has also been certified as an AAPC Professional Coder.
Cardozo has proven herself as a responsible and reliable Instructor, her past experience in coding in different areas of the medical field will give students the opportunity to learn from her real-world experiences. Karen will be a welcome addition to the faculty at the Colorado Springs campus.
