What You Gain
Experience to Put on Your Resume
Externships: Students will complete a 5-week externship at the end of their program. Similar to an internship, you’ll be treated as a regular employee of the company, and your employer will evaluate your work for college credit. That means you’ll be able to put industry work experience on your resume—before you even graduate. Often, IBMC College students are even hired on as full-time employees after completing their externships.
Clinical Experience: IBMC College Cosmetology and Massage Therapy students gain real-world experience by perfecting their skills in the on-campus Student Beauty Services and Massage Clinics with supervision by licensed educators. Students will interact with clients to master hands-on practical skills and perform services for a variety of needs. In addition, students will develop positive and professional readiness for success.

Don’t sweat it. This is something every college student needs to consider. Our Financial Aid Advisors will help you figure out the best option for you, and and get you on a payment plan that you and/or your parents are comfortable with.
For those that qualify, there are financial aid plans, scholarships, and a grant program through Weld County.
