(Fort Collins, CO July 20, 2012): The Institute of Business & Medical Careers (IBMC) offers prospective students an opportune method to get started in a compassionate, healthcare career as a Medical Assistant or Medical Billing and Coding professional in-time to start classes on August 13, 2012 at the IBMC Fort Collins campus, 3842 S. Mason Street.

IBMC students learn hands-on medical assisting skills and prepare for exciting career opportunities in the medical field.

IBMC caters to busy adults who are seeking a career change, recent high school graduates, working individuals and those who are looking to better their lives through accelerated training courses.

To accommodate a multitude of learners throughout Northern Colorado and Southern Wyoming, IBMC’s Medical Assistant Degree and Diploma classes as well as Medical Billing and Coding Degree and Diploma courses, are offered in the morning, afternoon, and evening Monday through Friday.

IBMC Medical Billing & Coding students receive valuable experience through externship placements and fast-focused training in the classroom.

Class starts are every five weeks, providing students the opportunity to begin an exciting career in a compassionate field.

Students enrolled in IBMC’s Medical Assisting and Medical Billing and Coding programs engage in hands-on training that develops individual skill-sets and heightens their passion for helping others and working with other medical professionals. Small classroom sizes allow Medical Assisting students to receive one-on-one attention from faculty throughout the learning process and provide an intimate environment in-which students can feel comfortable in their surroundings and engage with their peers.

As part of IBMC’s Medical Assisting program and Medical Billing and Coding courses, students will receive instruction in medical terminology, medical insurance billing, patient interaction, medical office procedures, communication, word processing, and computer skills. At the end of the program, each student participates in a five-week externship, in-which he or she utilizes the skills they have learned in the classroom and gain valuable hands-on practice.
