Cowan returns to the IBMC College faculty team and to Cheyenne after owning two businesses in North Carolina. She first taught at IBMC in 2006 and 2008, but moved on to become a partner at the Center for Optimal Health in Fort Collins, Colo. From there, she moved to North Carolina, where she owned Seven Lakes Chiropractic Clinic in Seven Lakes, N.C., and most recently, Windhorse Wellness Center in West End, N.C.

The Therapeutic Massage degree and diploma programs provide students with the applicable skills and knowledge to ensure qualification for entry-level positions as a massage therapist. Students learn therapeutic, clinical and customer service skills needed to succeed in this career field.

This program includes an externship that will introduce learners to valuable workplace experience, and career placement assistance is provided.

Cowan earned her bachelor’s degree and doctor of chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minn., in 2005.

Her experience will be beneficial to the students and staff at IBMC College.
